Dogs will wag their tails in body language signaling happiness or playfulness, while cats who lash their tail are communicating in body language a warning of aggression most likely.
• While you refuse to acknowledge or participate in the inappropriate feline play, reward your cat or kitten for appropriate play with lots of praise, treats and playtime. Never punish the feline as this will increase his fear, anxiety and uncertainty. Punishing only makes a bad situation worse.
